I bought this pretty last second for mother's day and it arrived just in time and
This was the candle I was most looking forward to, so I might have set expectations too high. I do like the scent, but again, it's not quite what I'd hoped for. I'm not sure if it's not got enough leather or lavender. At first the scent was really weak, but the more I've burned it (further down in the jar), it gives much more fragrance.
Lovely candle and the scent is absolutely outstanding! I'm looking forward to my next order!
Book of Kells is amazing such a distinct smell it's like being in a castle and being around old books which is one of my favorite things in the whole world thank you for transporting me back to my childhood

Book of Kells candle has such a good smell to it! The lavender combined with the sweet musk is a good combination.

Straight out of the box I thought Book of Kells was pleasant. But then I lit it and I fell head over heels for this scent!

This is my all time favorite candle scent. It would be like Gandalf placing a scent spell on Gollum knocking him off the hobbits trail in Mordor.
This smell is the kind you might expect in a library or apothecary, it's strong but comforting and elegant. I light it every day.
The smell was a bit too strong for me at first, but after the initial burn and some time to get used to it, it's not too bad. My favorite remains the Tudor House Library, but this one is definitely top 5 for me.

I simply love all your candles, in fact Book of Kells is a auto shop every month...At the time I'm out of Country, my family is gathering my mail, etc....so at this time I'm unable to unbox my received Candles. I will be back in the States in a Month..and blissfully opening all my lovely Candels then..bathing in the wonderful fantasy contained therein...

First off, the communication on where the candle is at in the process is a great thing. After receiving the candle, I was unsure how the 100°F heat would affect the candle. When I opened it, it was double boxed, cool inner box, and no issues with the candle. The wax was level. I opened the lid, and thought it might have too much lavender. When I lit it, it was great.
