A bifold made from genuine decommissioned fire hose — a material chosen because it is close to indestructible. It is cut slightly wider than a standard bifold so it lies flat in the back pocket and spreads its weight, rather than folding into a hard lump.
The build is the point: a heavy 40-gauge ID window, a 1000D Cordura interior, double-stitched nylon thread, and military-spec binding at the edge. Because the hose is real and reclaimed, every wallet carries its own marks — yours is the only one like it.
Material & dimensions
Made from real decommissioned fire hose, handcrafted in small batches in the USA. Interior lined with 1000D Cordura; 40-gauge ID window; double-stitched and bound with 1-inch military-spec edging. Holds 12 to 15 cards and up to 20 folded bills; folds to about 4 x 5 in.
Each wallet is one of a kind — marks and slight discolouration from the original hose are part of it.
Care
Wipe clean with a soft, dry cloth, and let anything that gets wet air-dry away from direct heat. Avoid solvents and harsh cleaners.
Leather develops a patina with use, and an occasional light conditioning keeps it supple; woven and webbing materials need only the wipe-down.
