Castor oil has long been the base of a good hair-and-skin ritual, prized for its weight and slip. This small-batch blend softens that heaviness with jojoba, apricot kernel and argan, so a few drops massaged into the scalp absorb rather than sit — leaving hair conditioned and skin comfortable.

It is water-free and preservative-free, which keeps the formula concentrated: castor and amaranth seed for richness, sea buckthorn and vitamin E for warmth and antioxidant support. Use it on the scalp two or three times a week, press a drop into damp skin, or smooth it over dry ends. Choose it unscented, or in a botanical essential-oil blend.

A water-free, preservative-free oil for the scalp, hair, face and body, handmade in small batches. The blend leads with castor oil, carried by jojoba, apricot kernel, amaranth seed, argan and sea buckthorn oils with vitamin E. Most of the oils are certified organic.

Available in 2 oz and 4 oz frosted glass jars, unscented or in botanical essential-oil scents.

Ingredients

Scented versions add a blend of organic essential oils that varies by scent. The unscented version contains no essential oils.

Care

For the scalp, massage a few drops in two or three times a week; leave it in, or rinse after 30 minutes for a lighter treatment. On the face, press one or two drops into clean, damp skin. On the body, smooth it over damp skin or onto dry patches.

Store away from direct heat and sunlight, and close the jar fully between uses. For external use only — if irritation occurs, stop use.
